Lisa Congdon is an illustrator, fine artist, and collector based in Oakland, California. She draws her inspiration from her love of nature and animals. Her colorful illustrations of nature and animals take us to the whimsical lands of our childhood. She is predominantly a self-taught painter and drawer and did not begin painting and drawing until she was 31 years old. Her clients range from The Museum of Modern Art, Martha Steward Living Magazine, Target, Urban Outfitters, and Trader Joe’s, among many others. In 2010 she chronicled and turned her collection of unusual things in her Collection A Day 2010 into a book. She has created illustrations for various stationaries, wallpaper, and many more.
