Studio Outing: The Printing Museum

Last Thursday, a few of our team members went to The Printing Museum for the “Young Professional’s Mixer.” They walked around, made prints of the Gutenberg bible, and learned about the printing machines and linotype with in-house artist, Charles Criner. It was a great learning experience; we feel that gaining an understanding about the processes such as letterpress and printmaking are an integral part of continuing our education. It was a proud moment when one of our lady team members made a print with a machine that was primarily designed for men. We are looking forward the next “Misprint’s” event!
