How to Have the Perfect Staycation



1. a vacation spent at home or near home, doing enjoyable activities or visiting local attractions.

The Monday to Friday work week can tire down even the best of us. A weekend getaway may not be in the cards, but a staycation is the perfect alternative. Keep it simple and wake up Monday morning feeling recharged and ready to take on the week.

Finish that book - it’s been sitting on your nightstand for weeks now. Finish the book on your reading list or start a new one.

Bike through the park. Get some sun biking outside and bike to a local park or bring a picnic with you.

Museum hopping. We rarely find the time to take a leisurely stroll through our favorite museum, let alone two or three. Find a few local museums that pique your interest and take all the time you need to explore.

Treat yourself. Remember that fancy restaurant you’ve been dying to try? Cap off your Saturday evening with a glass of wine and nice dinner – there’s no need to wait for a special occasion to make that reservation!
