The Woodland Heights section of the neighborhood plays part to their annual “Lights in the Heights” festival, which brings in hundreds of Houstonians for free family fun. Though the event is over, the area remains one of the top displays in the area and is certainly worth your time when inside of the loop.

Prestonwood Forest

A neighborhood of Northwest Houston, Prestonwood Forest is considered a pioneer within the Houston neighborhoods for light shows. From lit up inflatables to LED lights sprawling giant trees to a classic holiday feel, Prestonwood Forest will show you why old school is indeed the best school.

Christmas Katy

Forget an entire neighborhood, how about a single house? This single house in Katy, Texas is widely known across the Westside of Houston for boasting a spectacular light show. From 6 p.m.–9 p.m. (Sunday through Thursday) and till 10 p.m. on weekends till Christmas, the show will be active. Featuring more than 50,000 LED lights, a 32-foot tree, 10 foot nutcrackers, and 16 different songs, this presentation is synchronized with Christmas music like a Disney World production. If you’re in the area be sure to check it out at 24603 Stoughton Court off I-10 and Pin Oak in West Houston.

Green Tee

Located in Pearland, Green Tee has a long-standing tradition when it comes to Christmas lighting. This neighborhood prides itself on its old-school approach to Christmas lights, bringing the “wintery feel” of a popular film to life.
