Keeping it Business Casual

There’s nothing like wearing a nice suit, but realistically the power suit era is dying. We are now seeing companies keeping their dress code, “business casual.” If you're asking yourself what "business casual" means, we're here to provide simple tips for guys to keep you on top of your game while still turning heads in the office.

1. Start off with a fitted shirt. Solid colors are always safe, but don’t be afraid of patterns. If you’re wearing a tie, use it to add a pop of color to your look. If not, unbutton the top button; nobody wants to see your undershirt.

2. Pants are simple; make sure they’re fitted, just like your shirt. The last thing you want is to look like you’re wearing your dad’s pants from the 80s.

3. Investing in a good pair of dress shoes is crucial; your shoes make a huge statement. Remember to avoid bulky square-toed shoes and always make sure they are clean. Leather and suede are safe options. Don't forget to match your shoes with your belt!

4. Lastly and most importantly, socks. As dumb as this may sound, wear the right socks. If you’re wearing grey or black pants, wear black socks; if you’re wearing blue pants wear navy socks. Finally, please do not wear white socks if it’s the last thing you do.

These simple business casual tips for men should be a guideline for all shopping trips in trying to find the right looks for your office, while keeping your look modern and stylish!
