A new player in Texas’s reregulated energy market, Discount Power came to Studio Brand with a strong brand name and a simple brand value to consumers. Our job was to help connect the new business with the customers across the state whom Discount Power would need to become a success.
Studio Brand began by creating a new brand for Discount Power, including a logo and tagline. We built a digital marketing strategy for the brand that included email, social media, video, web, and traditional marketing in order to bring Discount Power’s brand promise to the whole state.
Discount Power, a Houston-based energy company, contacted Studio Brand in 2016 with the goal of expanding their company’s reach and refreshing their existing branding. Studio Brand’s team was more than up for the task, starting with extensive research on the company’s competitors in the energy industry. After analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of Discount Power within this landscape, SB worked tirelessly to brand Discount Power as a customer-centered, down-to-earth company that prided itself on active involvement with benefiting its customers and their communities. This was completed through brand creation and a full launch campaign.
Studio Brand’s brand launch for Discount Power exceeded the customer’s already lofty expectations. Discount Power became the fastest growing private company in Texas and placed as the 52nd fastest growing private company in the country on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list in 2017. With this rapid growth, the owners of Discount Power were successfully able to complete their mission of a rapid sale.
